Privilege of August II on factorship for the Poznań land rabbi, Naftali Izaakowicz
King August II Wettin announces the Poznań Land Rabbi Naftali Izaakowicz as royal court factor and confirms Izaakowicz’s judicial competence as the highest Jewish judge. He releases him from the jurisdiction of all court instances (including Jewish councils), except those of royal courts and the courts of the grand marshal of the Crown and the grand marshal of Lithuania. He guarantees Izaakowicz safety during Crown and Lithuania diets and dietines. Izaakowicz is free to settle in royal towns.
